Using CalendarData.com with Windows Vista Calendar

The Windows Vista Calendar application can syncronize calendars from CalendarData. Using this feature you can keep in touch with your favorite schedules, whether sports, arts, or holidays. As the community updates those events, the changes will be reflected automatically in your Windows Vista Calendar.

Subscribing to an individual calendar

Simply find the calendar you want. In the calendar display will be a set of subscribe links. Click the "Windows Vista Calendar" link. At this point you may be given a security prompt. If you do, select "Allow".
Windows Vista Calendar will open and ask if you want to subscribe to this calendar. Click Next.
It will then give you an opportunitty to rename the calendar and to select a schedule. For most calendars a daily schedule for updates would be a good choice.
Your selected calendar will now be added as a new calendar in the application. You can enable/disable display of its events there.

Managing subscriptions in CalendarData

You can create an account with CalendarData and keep track of which calendars you want to monitor using the web-site. Simply click the subscribe buttons in CalendarData on each calendar you want.
Go to the "My Calendars" page and click the Subscribe: Windows Vista Calendar link.
Your Windows Vista Calendar will now have a calendar called "My Calendars" (or whatever you renamed it). As you subscribe and unsubscrbe to calendars in the CalendarData online site, it will automatically be updated in the view in the Vista application.
